For those of us who use Windows Media Player, it has a pretty neat feature that I found by accident. I was browsing my media library and wanted to exclude a certain type of song…so I thought, “Maybe, just maybe…” and typed in:
“NOT remix” (To exclude songs from ocremix.org) and voila, they were gone! So I did some other tests, and sure enough, Windows Media Player supports advanced search options like NOT, AND, OR. You can even use ratings like “Rating:5″ or “Rating:5 AND aerosmith” to find all my top rated Aerosmith songs. Just remember, those key search specifiers need to be in ALL CAPS in order to work right.
